When Johns Hopkins University launched its Rising to the Challenge campaign, Verizon’s Tony Lewis immediately stepped up to the plate. With a goal of helping other motivated future business leaders pursue their graduate education at Hopkins’ Carey Business School, he established the Anthony A. Lewis Scholarship, with a preference for those in financial need whose undergraduate degrees are from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
