With 2019 in the books, Jeremy took a look back at some of his favorite moments from the year:
One of my fondest memories goes way back to January, when we kicked off the year answering some of your questions about 2.0 and introduced new ways of working with new teams. And then just a month ago, we introduced our new purpose: We create the networks that move the world forward.
When we talk about networks it’s not just physical networks — 4G, 5G, fiber — it’s also human networks. It’s networks that form communities. It’s schools. It’s businesses. It’s relationships. It’s us.
Those networks bring us deals like we have with YouTube TV, Apple Music, Disney+. (Don’t forget, customers can get a year of Disney+ on us.)
We’re in the business of helping people — our customers. This year, we’ve helped customers avoid nearly three billion calls from spammers.
When it comes down to it, we do awesome things. We keep companies like Angel MedFlight connected when patients’ lives depend on it.
Solutions specialist Mark Wenk was born without an arm. He taught himself how to print, build, and engineer lifelike models with incredible functionality.
And, of course: we had to make a big splash doing it our way!
The one thing that always inspires me is all of you: The great V Team who is truly working to move the world forward. What a year, and I’m looking forward to 2020, our 20th anniversary. Happy New Year and until next time, you’re up to speed.
