What’s awesome about today’s gaming systems is that you can get a console-level experience wherever you go. No matter which system you use, you can set up your account to play remotely on your phone, tablet or computer.

Let’s say my wife is hogging up the living room TV. I can fire up the Xbox Live app in my office and use my controller to play my console games, in real time, on a second screen. Most modern consoles have options for remote gaming. All you need is a strong internet connection — like Verizon Fios or 5G Home — a remote play app and a controller. Some manufacturers, like Microsoft and Google, even let you play your games over the cloud, so you don’t have to be stuck home to play your console games. It’s going to be very cool to see how 5G plays into this as these cloud gaming services become universally adopted.

To make life easier — and keep your gaming accessories safe — OtterBox launched a series of mobile gaming accessories designed to safeguard your controller, support your phone and provide a fancy case to take everything with you when you’re gaming on the go. There’s even a two-way horizontal privacy glass screen protector, so you can play your favorite games without someone nearby watching over your shoulder.
