Vandana Venkatesh
Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Vandana Venkatesh serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for Verizon. In this role, she is responsible for leading the legal, corporate security, and cybersecurity teams, and guiding the company through a complex regulatory and security landscape.

Vandana has extensive experience counseling boards of directors and senior executive teams on a range of legal, regulatory, cyber, risk, and governance matters. At Verizon, she has led various groups including Public Policy and Responsible Business, and served as the lead attorney for Verizon’s Consumer, Enterprise, Supply Chain, and Technology business groups.

Prior to joining Verizon, Vandana worked as in-house counsel for the internet company Genuity, and as an associate at the law firms Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton and Bingham, Dana & Gould.

Corporate and charitable leadership

Vandana currently serves on the board of the National Association of Manufacturers, the nation's largest manufacturing industrial trade association, representing 14,000 small and large manufacturing companies. Recently, in recognition of her leadership, Vandana, along with Verizon, was selected by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) to receive its Corporate Leadership Award.

Vandana holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law School, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
