How soon can I have my Fios service installed at my new home?

You’ll be able to choose the installation date that’s closest to our move-in date after you submit your online order. Verizon offers night and weekend appointments, and same-day appointments may even be available. Once you select your date, you’ll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours.

Is there a difference if I’m a new or existing customer?

A little. If you’re already a Verizon customer with existing service at your current residence, you’ll first need to disconnect your service before transferring it to the new home. If you are new to Verizon, all you need is your address to get started. New or existing, all customers get great deals on fiber optic internet, TV and Digital Voice.

When should I set up my Fios internet at my new place?

We recommend a two-week lead time for setting up Fios in your new home, and we’re here to make the process fast and easy. If you’ve already moved in, you can get started right now. Verizon offers night and weekend appointments, and same-day appointments may even be available.

Can I install the equipment myself?

If your new home is already wired for Fios, we’ll send you a kit with everything you need for self-installation, plus easy-to-follow instructions and pictures. If you’d rather have a technician come to your home, you can schedule a visit at a time that’s convenient for you.

Can my Fios internet, TV and phone services be activated at my
new home before the current resident moves out?

The current resident’s Verizon services must be disconnected before your new services can be activated. Once you complete your order online, Verizon will contact the current resident to arrange for their services to be disconnected.
