FAQs

  • Can I take all my services with me?

  • If you qualify based on where you're moving, you can keep your same bundle of services at your new location with no problem.

  • Do I need to return my equipment?

  • It depends, if your new service requires different equipment, you will need to return the old equipment.

  • What if I need to change my order or change the date?

  • We’ll send you a reminder a couple days before in case something changed and you want to change your due date.

To make changes to your order, please sign in to My Verizon, or use the My Fios App.

  • Can I take my number with me?

  • In most cases, yes, you can.

  • I’m not moving, now. How do I cancel my move order?

  • You can delay your move order for up to 30 days. If your move date is greater than 30 days away, your move order must be cancelled. You can change your due date at My Verizon or on the My Fios app. However, to cancel the order you must contact Verizon.

  • When I move, can I have service at both locations simultaneously?

  • Unfortunately, you can’t have service at both locations. If you need your service at your old location while you're moving, we suggest you choose the next day as the due date of your order. You can also arrange to have your calls forwarded to your mobile device so you can get your calls on moving day.
