²Verizon owns the equipment provided with your plan, including the router and Wi-Fi Extender. If you choose to disconnect service, you must return equipment within 30 days or you’ll incur an unreturned equipment fee(s).
³You may request a Wi-Fi Extender after setup. Or, 30 days after your service is set up, our Wi-Fi Health Check tool will automatically monitor the strength of the Wi-Fi connection between the router and connected devices, and indicate if an extender is recommended. If our analysis discovers signal issues, we will notify you via email to confirm shipment of a Verizon Wi-Fi Extender.

Yes. Each device that connects to the Verizon wireless network has its own "phone" number. We create a mobile number for the Verizon Home Internet Lite router when you place your order:

• The router's number becomes active when we ship the equipment to you.
• You can't use the router's number to make calls or send/receive text messages.

No, you can’t have both Verizon Home Internet Lite and Wi-Fi Backup at the same time. However, if you have Wi-Fi Backup you may be able to change your plan to Verizon Home Internet Lite or Verizon Home Internet Lite Extra.

To get Verizon Home Internet Lite, start by checking availability. If you're in a Verizon Home Internet Lite coverage area, you can follow the prompts to order.

You'll see shipping and setup options when you order. Check the status of your Verizon Home Internet Lite order by either:

• Visiting the Order Status page. Use the order number and location code from our confirmation email.
• Signing in to My Verizon to view your orders.

When you order Verizon Home Internet Lite, we send you a router suited to the network coverage in your area. You can set up the router yourself. We'll send you a link to download the My Verizon app to get started.

Yes. You can set up, manage and troubleshoot Verizon Home Internet Lite through the My Verizon app. If you don't already have My Verizon to manage your Verizon account, set up access after your home internet is installed:

1. If the Verizon Home Internet Lite router is the only device on your account, use the router’s mobile number to sign in to My Verizon on your computer or the My Verizon app.
2. You can create a User ID to sign in with instead of the mobile number.
3. Learn how to set up a User ID in My Verizon.
4. Create a password.

To activate your new Verizon Home Internet Lite or Verizon Home Internet Lite Extra plan, you must reboot the Verizon Internet Gateway router:

1. Unplug the device, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in. A pulsing, white light displays for about 3 minutes.
2. When the pulsing, white light turns solid, press and hold the WPS (pairing) button for 5 seconds, then release. This puts the router in Setup Mode. When a solid white LED light displays, your new plan is in effect.

If the solid white LED doesn't display, refer to Verizon Internet Gateway - Activate / Set Up Device.

No. Verizon Home Internet Lite equipment and service are for use only at the qualified service address you gave us in your order.*

*Verizon Home Internet equipment and service is registered to your qualified service address and relocating your service requires Verizon authorization and address requalification. Unauthorized use or relocation may result in service interruption or termination. Learn more with our Terms of Service.

Use the My Verizon app or website to manage your Verizon plan and service:

• View, understand and pay your bill anytime.
• Access support information and troubleshooting tools.
• Discover new products and special offers.

You can pause Verizon Home Internet Lite for up to 90 days.* We'll automatically reconnect your service on day 91 if you don’t reconnect before the 90 days.

To suspend Verizon Home Internet Lite service, sign in to "Suspend or reconnect service" in My Verizon.

While your service is suspended:

• The router won't connect to the Verizon network.
• Any Wi-Fi connected devices in your home won't have internet access through Verizon.
• You'll be billed $10/month for the suspended service.
• Monthly charges for suspension and regular service are billed only for the days you suspend or reconnect.

Keep in mind: You can only use the Verizon Home Internet Lite router at your service address.

*Allowed only once every 12 months with a $10/month fee for the suspended service.

To reconnect your Verizon Home Internet Lite service after a vacation suspension:

• Sign in to "Suspend or reconnect service" in My Verizon.
• Tap Reconnect Device.

Keep in mind: Your service is usually ready within 1 hour of reconnecting.

To discontinue your Verizon Home Internet Lite service:

• In My Verizon, choose Chat with us (Verizon Assistant). Type "Cancel" into the "Ask a question" box. Follow the prompts to disconnect your service or choose to chat with a live agent.
• Call Customer Service before disconnecting to see if you qualify for additional savings.

Important: Verizon owns the equipment provided with your plan, including the router. If you choose to disconnect service, you must return equipment within 30 days or you’ll incur an unreturned equipment fee(s).

If you're experiencing a weak signal or dead spots in areas of your home, use the Wi-Fi Signal Analyzer.* This feature of My Verizon app measures Wi-Fi signal strength throughout your home. Here's how to use it:

1. Open the My Verizon app.
2. Tap the Home tab.
3. Tap your home internet router.
4. From the "Tools" section, tap Wi-Fi Analyzer.
5. From the Wi-Fi Signal Analyzer screen, tap Get started.
