WorldCom Teams with Compaq To Provide Leading Solutions for Web Hosting and Colocation Customers
Industry Leaders Join Forces to Meet Enterprise e-Infrastructure Needs

As part of this arrangement, WorldCom is now a Compaq Strategic Service Provider Alliance Partner.
Under the terms of the joint sales and marketing agreement, WorldCom and Compaq are teaming on sales opportunities, leveraging the combined capabilities, products and services of both companies to provide customers with advanced Web hosting technologies and solutions.
The companies are working together to deliver complete solutions to enterprise customers. These include pre-configured Compaq ProLiant server and StorageWorks hosting solutions, pre-packaged software bundles, and consulting and customer support services from Compaq Global Services with state-of-the-art managed Web hosting and colocation services running over WorldCom's facilities-based global network, through its state-of-the-art Internet data centers. As a result, customers receive secure, reliable hosting solutions that deliver total cost of ownership control and a higher level of business continuity assurance for their Web-based business operations.
