Fios TV has special settings called parental controls to help parents. Parents can set a secret code, called a PIN, so that kids can't watch certain shows or movies without the PIN. Parents can also decide if kids need the PIN to buy movies or shows. If no parental controls are set, the Kids page will still be limited to shows and movies with ratings for kids.

Fios TV doesn't know who is watching TV. We only know what TV box or device you are using. If you're using the Fios TV app on your phone or tablet, Fios TV knows the username you used to log in.

When you watch Fios TV, we collect information about what channels you watch and when so that we can show you the movie or show you want. We also collect information about how your service is used like what is watched, downloaded, recorded, how long it's watched, what is saved, other subscriptions you tell us about, and what settings or preferences you make. This information when collected from the Fios TV Kids page is used to provide you service as described below, and is not used to create a user profile.

Fios TV uses the information it collects to provide and improve Fios TV. Fios TV uses the information it collects on the Fios Kids page to analyze the page's functioning, perform network communications, personalize your experience by showing you shows and movies consistent with your settings and what you saved or record, protect information and Fios TV, and as needed to comply with the law. The information collected from the Fios TV Kids page is protected by administrative and technical controls so that it is not used to contact you or to create a profile of any viewer of the Fios TV Kids page.

Fios TV discloses information about you with companies that help us provide Fios TV service. These companies can only use your information to provide and help us improve Fios TV and they must delete the information we disclose when they no longer need it to provide the service. Fios TV doesn’t share information it collects through Fios TV Kids Page for any other purpose.

Fios TV only keeps your information for as long as it’s needed to provide service to you. When your parents don't want to use Fios TV anymore and cancel their subscription, Fios TV will delete information about you when it is no longer needed for business and legal purposes. Fios TV may keep some information that does not identify you or your device.

If you would like to see what information Fios TV has about you or ask that it be changed or deleted, talk to your parent or guardian, or the person that purchases the Fios TV service. They can make a request by visiting the Verizon Privacy Dashboard.
