What are my email settings?

 Setup Outlook Express

 

   

 

 

The following are the settings for setting up and configuring your email and remote access.

 

User name settings

  • Your Verizon Online user name
  • Your Verizon Online password
     
High Speed Internet (DSL) settings
  • Domain: dsl.verizon.net
  • Network protocol used: TCP/IP
     
Mail server settings
  • Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.verizon.net
  • Incoming Server Port Numbers: 995
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.verizon.net
  • Outgoing Server Port Numbers: 465  Why is this important?
  • Your Verizon Online user name
  • Your Verizon Online password
  • Make sure "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" is checked.
     
Home page/FTP setting
Note: Personal Webspace Pages have been discontinued as of 3/16/2014.

If you still have FTP or Sitebuilder created files residing on your Personal Webspace that you need to have deleted off the Personal Webspace server, log in to My Verizon Internet and select Security & Free Tools, click on Personal Web Space and select Delete My Personal Web Space.
