Trust Sravya, it was a BIG year!
Today on Up To Speed: She takes you back through her favorite moments of 2019.
Take a look back at 2019 with Sravya as she remembers some of her favorite moments from an eventful year:
Starting off, Verizon Up continues to give our customers rewarding experiences now more than ever. And speaking from first-hand experience, trust me, it’s rewards you really want! This year, we partnered with top artists like Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello to give customers the ultimate fan experience.
It was a big year for devices with the launch of many 5G devices… the Samsung Galaxy Note S10 plus 5G, LG V50 ThinQ 5G, Samsung S10 5G, 5G Moto Mod and the Inseego M1000 5G.
We also launched the iPhone 11, Moto Z4 and of course my new love… the Pixel 4. But I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings. I have a strong feeling that I’ll fall in love all over again next year.
I also got to give you a peek inside at what it’s like to be a Verizon Innovative Learning student, a look inside Yahoo Finance, and even learn about football at Yahoo Sports.
V Teamers continued to celebrate our culture around the globe with Black History Month, Women’s History Month, International Day of the Girl, Pride Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian Pacific Heritage Month and more.
And being green is nothing new for the V Team, but this year we made big news by issuing a $1 Billion Green Bond, a first in our industry. The bond will fund environmental initiatives including renewable energy, energy efficiency and green buildings, to meet our goal of going carbon neutral by 2035. And our V Teamers on the Green Team helped the Earth all year long from recycling rallies to planting trees.
One of my favorite things is this story about V Teamers who teamed up with Wichita State University students to help create custom toy cars for children with disabilities through the Go Baby Go program.
