This Veterans Month, we’re honored to give back to the military community through everything from volunteer opportunities to virtual events and webcasts. One of the cornerstones of Veterans Month has been the New York City Veterans Day Parade.
Due to our unprecedented times, this long-standing tradition will now be a motorcade, and Verizon is proud to continue its support of this event with two digital trucks driving the parade route. These trucks displayed special notes of gratitude from our V Teamers. We reached out to our V Team to ask them to Nominate a Veteran for Veterans Day and we received over 200 submissions to recognize colleagues, friends and family members.
Although this year looks a bit different, that isn’t stopping us from giving back to the military community while keeping safety at the forefront. As part of the NYC Veterans Day Parade motorcade broadcast on WABC-TV New York, Verizon Business Group CEO Tami Erwin shared this special message to veterans.
In honor of those who have served, we wanted to share all of the submissions to show our gratitude. To all veterans, we thank you for your service, sacrifices, and dedication to protecting our country.
