Everything a parent wants for their kid to be able to get ahold of them and securely block everything else poisoning our kids these days. Kid thought it was lame at first but being a 90's kid myself i would have been stoked with the FM radio feature it has and does take decent pics for being a flip phone. All the bones of a 90's phone like we had and wish we would have started with this to begin with.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I wanted something simpler in my old age. This seemed to fit the bill. I have been working with it and trying out several things. I copied the instruction sheets and that has helped some. However, i have been trying to get the tones on my rings and even with instruction pages , it does not work. Even went online and asked but no help there either. I wish there was a support # u could call for help.

I realize there are few flip phones on the market, but I went with this because I was told it could be tracked using Verizon Family. That is not the case because the phone cannot be paired. The best you can get is an approximate location based on cell towers. I wish that was explained to me prior to my purchase. Besides that, it’s a capable phone.

The store salesperson told us this had no internet. We didn't want our kids to access to youtube on their phone. He assured us that it didn't, but it does and we couldn't return it.

Outgoing speaking is Crisp, but Incoming Voice is terrible. Very crackly. Phone does not do group text, when trying my text goes to each individual number.

How to make phone vibrate and ring

To put most TCL flip phones on vibrate, press and hold the Volume Down button on the side of the phone until the vibration symbol appears, indicating vibration mode is active. For some models, you may need to press the button repeatedly to cycle through modes until vibration is selected.

how to activate the flashlight ?

To turn on flashlight, press and hold the Quick Dial button that is below the camera for about 4 seconds. Do the same to turn if off. If you have the latest updated software, you will need to enable the Quick Dial button for the flashlight. Simply go to Settings > Device > Quick Dial > Flashlight > Select On. In the event that you don't want to accidentally trigger the flashlight, be sure to select Off. - Kevin.
