Love the Upgrade from my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic!!
I did like the sport band better on my 4 but I am adapting. I love the new easy swapping of bands. That is impressive new design.

Very fast and sleek. I like to use it at work and talking to it to send texts, due to phones not being allowed on the hospital floor.
I've broken a few watch covers. But my watch looks flawless. The watch protectors are worth it. 😎🤙💨_

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want a tough, full-featured smartwatch that handles workouts, outdoor adventures, everyday smart features, and health tracking all in one wrist-ready package the Galaxy Watch Ultra really delivers. It’s great for someone active, busy, or just wanting a do everything watch that doesn’t quit by mid-day. It needs some work especially for those who want something sleek and minimal but for its mix of ruggedness, smart features, and battery plus sensor power, I think it’s one of the best all around smartwatches on the market right now.

I had the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for the past three years, and I was genuinely happy with it. I wasn’t planning to upgrade to the 2025 models—at least not until Samsung’s trade-in program made the offer too tempting to ignore. Even then, I hesitated because the 5 Pro already met all my needs. After watching dozens of YouTube reviews (which honestly didn’t help much), I finally decided to take the leap.
My biggest dilemma was choosing between the Watch 8 Classic and the Ultra. The rotating bezel on the Classic was tempting, but I worried about the Ultra’s thickness—every YouTuber described it as bold, huge, and rugged. In the end, I went with the Ultra mainly because I wasn’t ready to give up the 590mAh battery, the same capacity I enjoyed on the 5 Pro.
I traded in my 5 Pro for the Ultra, and here’s my experience so far:
Trade-in & Purchase: Delivered right on time. The entire online purchase and trade-in process was fast, smooth, and hassle-free.
Connectivity & Setup: Extremely easy. All my data from the old watch transferred instantly with no extra effort.
Display: This is the first thing that hits you. The 3000-nit display is a massive upgrade from the 5 Pro—bright, crisp, and stunning outdoors.
Performance: Super fast and incredibly smooth. Navigating the UI feels effortless—no lag whatsoever. It really earns the “Ultra” name.
Design: Get the white model if you can. It looks gorgeous in person—far more impressive than in photos or videos. I’ve owned black or grey smartwatches for the past decade, and this is my first white watch. I’m amazed by how clean and premium it looks. The watch is also not as thick as you'd expect. It’s surprisingly lightweight—barely noticeable on the wrist. Despite the larger battery and new sensors, the underside sensor area is actually smaller and more comfortable.
