[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used smartwatches for health tracking since 2020, but the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is a major hardware evolution. The biometric accuracy, heart rate tracking, and deep sleep analysis are exceptional. I particularly value the integration with my third-party smart scale; it creates a vital baseline for body mass that my doctor finds useful during our visits.
The fitness capabilities are also a highlight. The automatic exercise detection is remarkably precise, and the new Multisport features—especially for complex routines like triathlons—provide the best data I’ve seen on a wearable. The battery life is equally impressive and far exceeds previous models, which I am very pleased with. The snoring detection is another standout feature, providing objective data that I intend to review with my ENT specialist. I also love the customization; my faceplate keeps vitals front-and-center, with quick-access tiles just a swipe away.
However, I am extremely frustrated with the software rollout. Despite the "Ultra" branding, essential heart-health features like Blood Pressure monitoring and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications (IHRN) for Afib have still not reached my device as of April 2026. It is disappointing to pay for a flagship and be forced to wait for features used in advertising. Additionally, the Sleep Apnea detection is limited to an on-demand, two-night measurement period. I would much prefer a "set and forget" toggle for continuous background monitoring. While the hardw
