I upgraded from my Galaxy Watch 6 classic and I don't care much for making the switch, new non backwards compatible mechanism to connect the bands and they could've included an adapter to still use the previous Gen ones... Aliexpress sells them very cheap. The design of the watch was made without left handed people in mind as usual since it's upside when worn on your right wrist. I do like the new interface look of ONEUI 8/Android 16 and the Tiles but Samsung Health Mod does not work at all on this watch. It's ironic Samsung is blocking health features on non Samsung phones (I use pixel, will never buy a phone that cannot be bootloader unlocked) but it comes shipped with Google messages and Gemini now. I will not buy anymore Samsung watches if SHM Mod stays blocked.

I've had samsung watches for about 6 years now.
Very satisfied till now. This galaxy classic 8 feels cheap compared with my old classic still with rotating vasel. Not sure I'll keep it the "black" looks more like a cheap metal and rotating vasel loos out of f place.

I got the work though T-Mobile. I have say I love the function of the watch, UI 8 on classic is wonderful. The only downside I have is the size, because I also have the Ultra watch 2024 and the size on that one gives me alot to see, but the watch classic is still a great watch.

I highly recommend not upgrading to thos watch. It is off on everything it tracks other than oxygen and heart rate. It is the worst galaxy watch I have owned regarding sleep which throws off other measures. Its way off on body composition. Save your money. I may be done with the samsung smart watches. This is my fourth and probably last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a woman myself and have small wrist so my hesitation was that the watch would look too big on my wrist but after wearing it daily for two weeks it doesn't feel too big, I also compared it to my fiancé who owns the Galaxy Watch8 in 44mm and his looked bigger than mine. With Galaxy AI on the Watch8 it now has features like Sleep Coach and Running Coach to help me stay on track with my fitness goals.
