Bought it mainly because the sales associate told me it would work on the airplane and since I travel often it was a no brainer. Never worked on the airplane. Barely worked while I was home. Connection was slow. It was also a portable charger which worked when kt felt like it.

I used in a barn to give livestock birthing camera connection/streaming. Every season after, could hardly keep service, paid every month and signal was worse and worse.

It works some time and other time it will take 3 or 4 hours just together through a show, constantly freezes up or cuts off, and that's when you still have data it gets worse after you hit your data limit. We bought this because we travel alot

The first device I received worked for a day, then quit. All I’d get is a “no internet connection” message. My company sent me a replacement, which worked, albeit woefully slowly. Using the hotspot on my AT&T iPhone worked much faster. I had to keep this thing plugged in at all times because the battery would drain down to nothing in a matter of an hour. It regularly shut itself off or dropped my laptop and printer from the network while I was working. Charging it was also frustrating because the charger supplied with it was incapable of providing enough power to actually charge the battery. Overall, a pretty disappointing device.

I've had this hotspot for a couple of years now. I picked it over other options because it features an ethernet port that I plug my home router into. We use it both for our home internet connection as well as a mobile network for our camper. Most of the time it works very well, but when the reception is marginal (as it is at our home), it will go into a mode where it connects to the Verizon tower for a few seconds then drops the connection. Sometimes re-booting the hotspot helps, sometimes not. Calls to Verizon to address this issue haven't helped; I believe the problem is our local tower since it never does this on the road. My previous device, a Sierra Wireless USB modem, did not exhibit this behavior. Another peeve is that if you use any charger other than the one supplied with the device it will complain that it's charging slowly. It isn't charging slowly, and it does this when the charger is actually much faster than the cheap one supplied with the device. In fact, the supplied charger is barely adequate and won't provide enough power to operate the device if the battery is at 0%.

Verizon lost my order

This was painful - not only did I never receive the product, no one at Verizon seemed to have a clue where it was. I wound up cancelling the order (I hope) and have ordered a device off of Amazon - who at least know how to get a product in my hands.
