Terrible Battery Life

I have had my watch now for over a year and my battery only lasts me roughly 8 hours if I'm lucky. I've deleted apps on it and even watch videos on how to help my battery life but nothing has helped. It also constantly overheats at the most random times and has to "cool down". Even happened while driving and it wasn't even in use. This is my first Samsung watch and I'm definitely disappointed. I'm to the point I don't even want to wear it anymore because of the issues I have compared to other reviews I've seen for the Samsung Watch 7.

Consistent with 10ATM water-resistance classification, up to 100m of water for up to 10 minutes. Tested in 5% salty water and 4ppm chlorine water. Rinse residue / dry after wet. Water resistance may diminish after 3 years.
Galaxy AI features track data and require compatible Samsung Galaxy phone, Samsung Health app and Samsung account.
As compared to the previous model. The heart rate software functions are not intended for medical use.
Available for outdoor running and cycling only. Must follow the same starting point and path as a workout selected from up to 14 days prior.
As compared to previous models. GPS accuracy is affected by weather, atmosphere and other obstructions such as buildings or tall trees.

Great purchase. Best watch I've owned. Tracks EVERYTHING and is extremely light for the size. Takes a few days of learning your patterns and habits before battery life improves. Goes 2 days easy before needing a charge. Got it on a great deal. If youre an Android owner, it's a must have!

This watch is water resistant, not waterproof. It can be submerged in up to 50 meters (164 feet) of fresh or salt water for 10 minutes, and also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Can I wear a galaxy watch with iphone

No, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is not officially compatible with iPhones because it runs on Wear OS, which is not supported by iOS. While some older Galaxy Watch models had compatibility with iPhones, the Galaxy Watch 4 and newer models require an Android phone for full functionality. -Sean
