The problem is not with the device. Verizon did not set this up on their end prior to shipping out. The device did not activate as it should of when it arrived and I followed the instructions in the device box. Had to start a chat to get help with Verizon. Verizon dropped the ball again. Very frustrating.

The device is fine, trying to get it set up through Customer Care was an absolute nightmare. So incredibly frustrating, after 3 hours on the phone, trying to get my account right (you disconnected my phone line, charged me 3x for Netflix and took off all of my protections), I finally went into the Livonia Store. Allan was incredibly helpful and it only took 30 minutes. Your Customer Care Team really needs to be trained and/or fired. Furthermore, I gave some Pamela lady 5 stars, she is the one that charged me three times for Netflix.

poorly made for the cost, on 2nd unit in 14 months, both units shut down and restart so you can't stream movies very good
buy a cheaper unit that way you're not out as much money

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. If your unit is shutting down, you may have a sleep timer on. In the menu, you can change the Sleep Mode settings, the amount of time to remain on or to never sleep. Also, if you do plug the device continuously, the charging cycle will stop charging after a 16-hour period and will only recharge the battery between 50-60% to increase the life of the battery. If you do need to charge the battery to 100% before traveling, simply turn off the device to charge it. Hope this helps. - Kevin.Portable WiFi Hot Spot

If there is 4G or 5G service in your area, it should provide you with good a connection. If you're still not getting the data service, you may want to check your plan. Terrible customer service. Can’t even use the hot spot because it says I have to take it into the store before I can activate it. As it is this is third time I ordered a hot spot and the first time it actually showed up, but I can’t even use it.

Hello. Sorry to hear that. The device should work with an activated SIM card, unless your SIM card didn't have the correct plan. You do need to have data plan, or you may run out of service. I picked this device up from store and exchanged it for the inseego mifi the very next day
The reason is that this device would restart on its own every 3-5 minutes, I thought it was possible a defected device but turns out that other customers have had the same experience. So please don’t waste your time on ordering or going down to the store for this hotspot device. I 100% do not recommend the linkzone. I haven’t had a problem with my inseego Mifi pro, so if you’re comparing devices before purchasing just stick to anything beside the linkzone
