The size is slim and fits well in small areas, the picture quality is great and the app works wonderfully. The only thing like most systems is they require a paying subscription to access certain features. Overall its a good product.

I liked receiving a call on my phone when someone rang the doorbell too! Great feature. Only thing I didn’t like was the little silver thing to open up the doorbell. I feel like it would be easy to get lost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Arlo video doorbell for about a month now and I love it! I haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever. Installation was just a little bit tricky but even as first time doorbell installers (lol) it didn’t go too bad! The instructions could be a bit better, but we figure it out. It’s sleek and modern looking. The video quality is good, not amazing, but good and the night video is also adequate. I like that I can view everything I need from my phone and can even select my doorbell sound. It take about 15-30 second videos or longer depending on how long someone stays at your door and I like that it records even if the doorbell hasn’t been rung. All in all it’s a solid device!

Also has identification mode which distinguishes the difference between cars , animals and people . This option make it extremely more convenient when deciding if you need to view the camera immediately or not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy installation. My existing doorbell wires just connect to the two screws inside the button. Very easy instal and setup instructions. Still working out all of the settings. I wish i could turn off varuous notifications without turning them all off. I dont need to know every time a car drives by or someone walks on the sidewalk. Otger than that, its great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a 100 year old home. Therefore a wireless doorbell is essential. Having the extra security makes it even better. The Arlo is great as the one device can be hard wired or used wirelessly. Previous to receiving this from Arlo I was using the competitors, R***. The Arlo video doorbell is so much better on so many levels. I must first advise that I live on a Main Street with heavy traffic. I am currently able to get a little over a week for each charge. With the competitor’s doorbell I had to charge every four days. With the competitor doorbell, I would miss so many notifications. The doorbell would never advise when anyone was at the door including the post man who would come every day Monday through Saturday. With the Arlo I never miss a single person even walking on the sidewalk just passing in front of my house. I really like that the Arlo calls your phone when someone uses the doorbell so you can see who is there even if you are away. This is not a feature of my previous doorbell. I also think that the video footage is far better with the Arlo. I love how sleek the doorbell looks. Finally, It is much easier to retrieve the device for charging than my previous door bell.
The reason this has a four stars and not a five is that you must purchase a chime as I did with my previous doorbell to hear the doorbell ring in your home. I also feel that the notification has a longer delay than my previous doorbell. I find the set up a little more difficult when using the mobile app configuration. I still have not figured out how to get my son access to our new doorbell. With that said, our new Arlo is staying. I am also in the process of changing over all other doorbells and cameras to Arlo as I find it to be a better device. I highly recommend.
