The Google Nest Cam Indoor (wired, 3rd gen) helps you see what's happening in your home with stunning clarity and intelligence. Capture every detail in brilliant 2K resolution with HDR¹, giving you a sharper, more vivid picture of your space, day or night. The expansive 152 degree diagonal field of view ensures you see more of the room at once, while the 6x digital zoom lets you focus on what matters most. When the lights go out, powerful infrared LEDs provide clear night vision up to 15 feet, so you never miss a thing. Stay connected with high-quality, two-way audio, allowing you to have clear conversations with family or pets through the camera using the Google Home app. The camera uses on-device machine learning to provide intelligent alerts, processing events faster and more securely right on the device. Right out of the box, you can review key moments with up to three hours of event video previews included². Setup is simple and versatile; place the camera on any tabletop or use the integrated wall plate for secure mounting. It connects reliably to your network with dual-band Wi-Fi and integrates seamlessly into your smart home, working with Gemini for Home³, Google Assistant, and compatible with Alexa. Your privacy is protected with secure boot, automatic security updates, and video encryption. Designed with sustainability in mind, the camera is made with at least 28% recycled materials4 and arrives in 100% plastic-free packaging⁵. blink cameras and this was just as easy to set up. We are able to quickly check on our dog while being out. The app is very user-friendly. The video clarity is better than our blink cameras. Sleek and stylish, you could easily tuck this away on a bookshelf. Virtually maintenance-free, except the occasional software updates.

After installing the Google Home app, I hooked it up to Alexa.
I love the clarity of this 2k camera and the intuitiveness it has in detecting and tracking motion. It has a wide view and the base is heavy enough to hold it in place without falling. It has good flexibility and is able be put into just about any position.
The app was easy to use and gave me crystal clear images.
It’s more than sufficient as an indoor camera as well.
It’s tiny footprint combined with its high quality makes it a great camera for your home or even your office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nest Cam was easy to install and has a high power of usage when using the camera. I love the small design of this camera. It can be installed easy and hide inconspicuous that doesn’t draw attention. The only drawback is you have to subscribe for a subscription to be able to view camera data that was taken day, weeks, or months. The camera does record each day but you can only view the recordings for that day without a subscription

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the google nest cam was so simple and easy to set up. I’ve been wanting security coverage for my driveway/front yard. I have a doorbell camera, but its view is limited. I opened the box, plugged in the camera and scanned the QR code and there wasn’t much more to it. I didn’t want to mount it to the wall and I wasn’t set on the location, so I perched it on a window sill and was impressed by the coverage. I get notifications when a human is detected and it shows clear footage all the way to the street 20’ away. This is exactly what I needed. So easy, more security.

You can see very wide angles and it shows every detail of your room very good quality camera and it was super easy to set up. It only took me like five minutes. I didn’t mount it I just put it on a table. I’m gonna use it to keep an eye on my dog while I’m at work.

The angle is wider than a similar one my brother has and it has the convenience of viewing from my app. The installation was relatively easy after reading the instructions several times to gain understanding. I like that I can ensure my privacy is protected as I can observe my area and in addition, watch my dogs while I’m away. I would say I would like better video speed or the ability to adjust the speed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This took me awhile to review because I was on the fence about having a camera inside. It took me forever to even get it connected. I don’t feel like I should have to have two different apps to make this work. Seems ridiculous. The alerts are super sensitive. It alert even when a person just peeks at the doorway. It got 3 stars because my family have actually really enjoyed being silly and goofy with it.

We have Ring cameras but the Nest Cam blows the Ring cameras out of the water in terms in usability, picture and video quality. Installation was super easy. The videos are so clear and it’s able to recognize people vs objects. It can even tell you what’s going on in the video with voice prompts. Definitely would recommend it to everyone.

Hey there, Lekili. The Nest Cam Indoor (Wired, 3rd Gen) is compatible with most home Wi-Fi networks. However, we advise against using Nest products with a few specific network types: 1. Mobile hotspots: These may have issues with bandwidth, availability, data limits and usage fees. Nest products work best with a reliable 24/7 internet connection, so you’d need to keep your mobile hotspot device at home all the time. 2. Public or open networks: For security reasons, never connect your Nest product to a network you know nothing about, and don’t use someone else’s network without their permission. 3. Guest networks: You might not be able to troubleshoot a Wi-Fi or internet issue because you can’t access the router settings.
