I am absolutely in love with the JBL Flip 7! I got the pink color and it’s everything I could ever need. The sound quality is unreal and the charge time is amazing. You can’t go wrong with JBL branded products. I use this for casual listening so my calm soft music sounds magical.

This is my 4th JBL purchase. They are convenient to have wherever you want a little music to enjoy. The Bluetooth connection is easy although I recommend changing the device name if you have more than one. My favorite feature of this latest purchase is the ability to personalize the design. You can be artistic and design with your own pattern and colors but even better you can select a favorite photo to make it a very personalized gift. The biggest challenge is working around the JBL logo but I managed to find two photos that I could manipulate to work around that logo. The editing features are pretty easy to work with if you keep playing with them. I managed to customize one for my son with a favorite picture of him celebrating for a football tailgate speaker. I made another with our fire department logo and name/call number for a unique recognition gift.

Will I get true stereo sound when linking two speakers with app? Does it drain my phone battery more than one speaker?

Thanks for your question. With the Auracast feature, you can stereo pair two JBL Flip 7 speakers to enjoy true left and right channels for a wider sound. As for battery, linking two speakers does not drain your phone battery significantly more than usual, the extra battery draw is on the speakers' side, not your phone. The phone simply sends the Bluetooth signal; each speaker powers itself and draws from its own battery.

Will the jbl flip 7 connect with google nest mini?

Thank you for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 can be connected to any Source devices that has a Bluetooth capability. It can also connect to our other JBL speakers with an Auracast feature. Please feel free to contact your Google Nest Mini manufacturer to inquire if there is a way to connect these two speakers.

Can the Flip7 connect to older audio devices (that do not have Bluetooth, such as cd and mp3 players) using a USB-C to 3.5 mm Aux cable?

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 supports lossless audio playback through its USB-C port when connected to a compatible device (such as a laptop or another audio source that supports digital audio output). This allows the speaker to play lossless audio when using a direct USB-C digital connection. However, our Flip 7 does not support analog audio input. This means a USB-C to 3.5mm AUX cable will not work, and it will receive audio from older devices like MP3 players.

Does this have a speaker for answers phone calls

Thanks for your question. Our JBL Flip 7 does not have a built-in microphone, so it can’t be used for voice calls or as a speakerphone. It's designed primarily for music playback.
