[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these Oakley Meta Transition glasses, but after using them for about a month, I think they're just kinda "meh." I'll start my review with what I like about them and end with what I dislike. First of all, I actually really like the clear glasses frame and shape. I think they look good on my face, and I believe they would compliment other face shapes as well. Additionally, they're the perfect weight to where they don't feel super fragile or like a brick on your face. Setup for the glasses and app was very straightforward and easy. The sound quality was higher than I expected so I was pleasantly surprised when I took them outside on runs. However, once I took these glasses outside, that's when I discovered my dislikes. The transition lenses are theoretically cool but practically still need work. The speed at which the lenses darken is way too slow and not dark enough for my taste. Additionally, when I hop in the car to run errands, the glasses don't darken at all leaving me with the full blaze of the sun in my eyes while I drive. Also, I found that once my nose starts to sweat, the glasses continually slip down my nose (regardless of the non-slip material on the nose bridge of the frames) on runs, which leads to me constantly pushing them back up my nose. This became very irritating because I would end up pressing the control buttons on the side of the frames so I was constantly either pausing my music or turning the volume up/down. Eventually, I gave up on the idea that these glasses would replace my ear buds and non-smart sunglasses on my runs, which is disappointing. Even though I'm kinda "meh" about these glasses, I still find myself putting them on when I don't feel like wearing ear buds as I clean or do other chores around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Oakley/Meta HSTN Sunglasses are absolutely amazing. I gifted these to my brother for Christmas & he was really pleased with them. He & his family are in Germany for 5 years & they’ve used the opportunity to travel all over. Paris, Greece, Seychelles, Netherlands, they’re always going on an adventure & these are perfect for him. Meta AI can translate a menu in real time, identify wildlife, plants, give directions. The hands free camera & Meta AI are perfect. I included a video that he took with the glasses, sprinting my dog down the beach, the mic even picks up his feet slapping the sand! I’m leaving the sound because of his commentary “we’re running, we’re running”😂. He’s straight up sprinting & the video is stable. The picture of the playground is also taken with the glasses.
The speakers are amazing, they play crisp clear music/podcasts/calls/etc. without being heard by the person sitting next to you. It’s wild. The included case is the charger. The transition lenses work well, I really want to get a pair with my prescription lenses next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m new to using Meta glasses, and these were super easy to use with the app. I loved how quickly the images and videos transferred—it was fast and seamless. The Meta Oakley glasses look great, feel comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is solid. Picture and video quality is better than some other gadget cameras I’ve used but it doesn’t shoot in 4k. Overall, they’ve been a fun and convenient addition, and I’d definitely recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the fit of the glasses. It’s comfortable and the transition helps a lot when in the sun. It’s pretty sturdy and the nose base of the glasses fits really well. The lens are sleek and clean and fits the shape of my face nicely. The only downfall is that it doesn’t provide much options as an iPhone user for calling or texting. Some of the functionally is limited. However, it will be useful for filming food videos.

The glasses are comfortable to wear and also stylish. The transition aspect of the lenses are also great for both indoor and outdoor for a multipurpose eye protection. The video quality is clear, and the audio picks up voices well without a lot of background noise. I like how simple it is to start and stop recordings, making it convenient for hands-free moments. They feel comfortable, look like regular glasses, and don’t draw attention, which makes the recording capability even more practical. They have more weight than normal glasses, but are comfortable! The transitions work great when outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are truly amazing. It wouldn’t let me upload the video I took with them on so I uploaded a photo I took with them on instead. The photo is just as good as anything I took on my phone. I really like the clear ones because they pretty much look like normal glasses you can barely tell the camera is there. They are pretty comfortable I have a petite face so they are a tad big but it doesn’t bother me. They are really easy to keep in the case and I’m not worried about them falling out. It’s so cool how they can translate in real time tell you what you’re looking at snap photos take videos pretty much tell you facts about what you’re looking at anything you need you can do. Obviously with these you need social media so that’s the only thing to be aware of but not a deal breaker for me. The sunglasses feature works really well they transition seamlessly. It takes a minute to go back to the glasses but that’s to be expected. Highly recommend these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where do I start, these glasses from Oakley are just so amazing. I love being outdoors and love to climb, run, sailing, bike riding and just being active. In the past I have used a different recording device to capture my adventures but it has not always worked out as planned and could be uncomfortable to wear. With these glasses I can see exactly what I am filming and the video quality is perfectly crisp. The design of the glasses might not be my first choice, because I unfortunately have quite a big head but the glasses still fit comfortably and do not move around. The polarized lens catches the colors beautifully and the clear to sun transition glasses work well. I think one of my favorite features other than the camera is the option to listen to your playlist hands free through your glasses. The sound is clear and clean. The AI feature can be helpful as well but as all AI it has room to grow. Also very important the battery life is enough to get me through a full day of activities. I am also using the picture option a lot. I can make pictures by just using word commands. No more fumbling with a phone or small camera buttons. This is definitely my favorite new toy that is a must for all my outside activities now.

These make life very hands free (I am not adjusting my earbuds over and over again). Although Meta is still learning and adapting to apps it is very fun to use and look up what I’m looking at, ask questions as well as the translation feature. The durable, protective charging case is very useful but the glasses are a little tight around my temples. These glasses I received as a free sample and they are 1000% worth it. Would recommend buying

The glasses look really cool and high tech. They fit very well! I was surprised how easy these were to use and learn how to use, and also how quickly I got used to using them. I find these great for walks- easy to snap a picture or video of something you see without taking out your phone. Listening to music with these on is great the sound quality is excellent. Overall, I’m very impressed with this. I can’t recommend them enough!
