Despite installation of defender pro and screen protector my screen cracked within two weeks - without even dropping it. Just in my coat pocket. My only explanation is that it must have been hit at a weird angle by my door key in my pocket or something like that. The crack is next to the ring on/off button on the phone. But really I thought this would provide more protection. Hugely disappointed.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

I received my first iPhone in 2007, nineteen years ago. I have had an OtterBox Defender on each of my four iPhones since. I cannot count the times that I have dropped my phone without a scratch. There are copycats, but there is none better than OtterBox.

No, a case designed for the iPhone 17 Pro will not fit the iPhone 17 Pro Max, as the phones have different dimensions. You need to buy a case specifically for the 17 Pro Max, such as the OtterBox Defender Series XT Pro Clear Case with MagSafe for the iPhone 17 Pro Max - RealTree APX. We do not have this model available through Verizon. ~Balter

Does this one come with a belt clip as well for the case?
