Can you wear the ring on your thumb? Like a thumb ring?
Yes, you can wear the Ring AIR on your thumb, though we typically recommend the index, middle, or ring fingers for the most optimal data accuracy and a stable fit. For a thumb to provide accurate readings, you must ensure it fits securely and comfortably without rotating easily, which can be challenging due to the thumb's anatomy. Does this require you to add another line to your Verizon account? I would love to have one but don’t want to have too add another line to my account. Already have the latest and greatest Apple Watch that required me to add another line.

Is the ULTRAHUMAN Ring compatible with the SeizeAlarm app that notifies help if seizure motions are detected?
It is important to note that the Ultrahuman Ring AIR is not designed to directly detect seizures or trigger seizure alarms. However, it does offer a variety of health monitoring features that might be helpful in managing epilepsy: Heart Rate and HRV: The ring tracks continuous heart rate variability (HRV) and heart rate during sleep and activity. Changes in heart rate and HRV can sometimes be associated with seizures, and monitoring these trends may provide valuable insights for individuals and their healthcare providers. Sleep Tracking: The Ring AIR tracks sleep stages (REM, deep, light, and wakefulness) and provides a sleep score. This data can help individuals understand their sleep patterns and identify potential disruptions related to seizures. Movement Tracking: The ring features a 6-axis motion sensor that captures body movements with precision, according to AT&T. While it's not specifically designed for seizure detection, this data might be useful in understanding movement patterns associated with seizures. Important Considerations: Consult a Physician: Always consult with your physician before using any wearable device for managing epilepsy or making changes to your treatment plan. Seizure Detection Devices: If you require a device specifically for seizure detection and alarming, dedicated options are available, such as smartwatches with seizure detection features or bed monitors designed to alert caregivers during nighttime seizures. Data Analysis: The Ultrahuman app provides insights and suggestions based on the collected data, but interpreting these insights in the context of epilepsy requires careful consideration and consultation with healthcare professionals. Third-Party App Integration: The Ultrahuman Ring AIR can integrate with some third-party apps for cycle tracking and other health data, but its ability to directly connect with seizure alarm apps for real-time alerting is not currently specified. In summary, while the Ultrahuman Ring AIR is not a seizure alarm device, its comprehensive health tracking features, including heart rate, HRV, and sleep monitoring, might be valuable for individuals managing epilepsy in conjunction with professional medical guidance. ~Jorge
