Do not like the silence button vs the previous ability to know when silenced. Reception seems to be less in my area of no 5g towers. Could get 2 bars before and now only one. Battery does not hold the charge as long as previous Iphone.☹️

Annoying occurence of my Apple account being locked

For the most part, I like the iPhone 16 with the exceptioon of one annoying occurence. I keep receiveing warnings that my Apple accounnt is being disabled for security reasons. When I attempt to reset the account, I get the message that I must reset the Apple account. When I try to reset the account, I get a message that the account is locked and I must verify my identity. When I try to do that, i get a message that because it is a new device, it cannot be used to unlock the account and that I must reset the password on my old iPhone 8. I purchased the phone 2 weeks ago and I am constantly having to go through this annoying sequence. I cannot find how to remedy this situation so I guess I must go back to the Verizon store.
