Ordered iPhone 16e from a Verizon store and was told that it would be mailed to my home but did not mention that I would need to be home to sign for it. UPS claimed that they tried to deliver but I was never notified that they were on their way. I sat home the day it was to be delivered but UPS then said it would be delivered the next day, so I left home, only to be told later by UPS they tried to deliver it that day but no one was home. Phone has now been returned by UPS and the Verizon store was completely unhelpful in working to resolve this issue. Unacceptable and shoddy customer service by Verizon to someone who has been a customer for over 20 years (but possibly not for much longer).

Apple Intelligence is available in beta on all iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, with Siri and device language set to English (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, or U.S.), as an iOS 18 update. Additional features and Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish language support available in early April, with more languages coming over the course of the year, including Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
Battery life varies by use and configuration; see apple.com/iphone for more information.
The displays have rounded corners. When measured as a rectangle, the screen is 6.06 inches (iPhone 16e), 6.12 inches (iPhone 16), 6.69 inches (iPhone 16 Plus), 6.27 inches (iPhone 16 Pro), or 6.86 inches (iPhone 16 Pro Max) diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.
Emergency SOS and Messages via satellite are included for free for two years with the activation of any iPhone 14 or later model. Connection and response times vary based on location, site conditions, and other factors. Messages via satellite requires a carrier plan. I'm not a heavy smart phone user most of the things I do are simple and straight forward. In fact, I previously had an iphone8 that was in perfect condition and did everything I needed it to do. It stopped getting updates, so it was time to upgrade. I didn't need the big fancy upgraded camera system, so I chose the 16e. It's perfect for me and does everything I could possibly need it to do and more. If you don't need all the bells and whistles that are offered today on the latest and greatest phones this is the phone for you. PS I'm just a 71-year-old retired guy trying to stay a little up to date.

I resisted upgrading my phone. I liked the home button and the smaller phone - or so I thought. Until I upgraded - I love everything about the 16e. The size is only a little bigger in my pocket but the screen size is way bigger and nicer! I have been telling the rest of my family that they should upgrade too.

Rocky start having to spend 2+hours getting everything set up. The employee that helped me was great. Even though she had trouble getting the new phone ready, she had a good attitude. The chair was awful for an older guy with a bad back. Terribly uncomfortable. I realize they don’t want people hanging around more than necessary but it was torture. Someone did bring an office chair which I appreciated.

NEGATIVE ISSUES WITH IPHONE 16

Although this was an upgrade for. me, I found too many negative issues with the iPhone 16. Unfortunately, I thought they were operator error, but they were not. One major problem is the location of the silent mode button. Whenever you touch the higher volume button, the silent button is activated and therefore you are not relieving any calls. When making a typing correction, it takes numerous attempts for the curser to go where you intend to make the correction. Honestly, this is the worst iPhone I have ever purchased.

I don’t like this phone AT ALL! I don’t need all the bells and whistles younger people need! I don’t like the home button, constantly in way of what I’m doing! Phone is heavy and I just don’t care for it but I’m stuck with it!

I enjoy the minimalist design. I don’t need a lot of camera lenses The white is nice and clean look. My battery life is great and fits perfect in my small purse. Very happy with the look and feel of it !
