I personally like the edge screen design much more than I don't. It is asthetically nice and also lights up during a notification, which is cool :) Some of the main things I like are the cameras, screen quality, overall hardware performance, battery life, thin design, water and dust resistance, and software. They all add up to a good experience at this price range. I haven't owned a Motorola phone in a very long time, I think actually it was my first and only Motorola phone, a small basic one back in around 2007 or 2008 maybe. I remember really liking the Razr back then, and the new one's look interesting. My next one in a few years or so may be Motorola again :)

Near premium quality at budget phone prices

First off we're going to start with the design of the device. When you first feel it in your hand, it feels so good with just about the perfect weight and thickness as well as The magnificent display to frame ratio. It's one of those devices that is more narrower than others but feels taller just because of the layout and through the materials used in the manufacturing process as well as the crisp image to display puts out it feels like a premium device in your hand and it's always comfortable to hold. Add in Motorola's hello UI which in my opinion is probably the best implementation of Android out there considering not only aesthetics but the fact that you essentially get a small pc, a smart TV and the phone all in one package and you have an unbeatable powerhouse in your hand. It's not going to be the most powerful device out there but tasks are going to be extremely easy to handle due to the storage size, ram size and speed and the 940 MHz GPU clock. It may be a little bit lacking and power if you're doing something such as image and video editing or APK decompiling but aside from that it's about as much as you need if not more in certain areas while still maintaining substantially great battery life with isn't a problem anyway because of how dang quick the device charges without even getting warm. Probably one of Motorola's best designs to date.

I have owned the 2024 Edge for almost 4 months now and I can not say anything bad about the performance of this phone. I am in the tech field and I am always looking for computer that can operate and think as fast as I do. The 2014 Edge DOES!!! Multitasking, opening and switching between apps. Click and the phone does everything instantaneously.. Web pages open in a flash and gesture control has never been better . Lastly, I am always amazed at Motorola's ability to deliver an android OS with their phones that does not big down with advertisements and unknown applications creating overhead on the device over time like other manufacturers. Like I said, I am a tech and have techs working for me. So, I work with a lot of phones and constantly at the store getting a plan setup for a new guy. I usually try and curb them towards Motorola but the sales guy is always pushing them towards the more expensive I phone or Samsung something or other. Sure they are pretty good right there in the store. But months later, I be always f find the thing bogging down for some unknown reason. Sure everyone should maintain there equipment but they don't. And you certainly don't need any hidden gems behind the scenes creating problems. The facts are that in a years time, I do less than a 3rd of the maintenance on a Motorola than the other manufacturers devices.

Thank you Motorola for keeping your phones affordable!! I bought my Moto Edge on sale about a month ago and so far I love it! It has all the features that I need and more. This phone is super fast and I love the screen! The leather backing is a nice feature as well.
