Out the box this phone is full of problems. The digital SIM Card causes transitioning from WiFi to Cellular service nearly impossible. I had to repeatedly restart the device, or switch data off to get a signal after WiFi. The mediatek processor compared to my 2021 Nokia X100 by HMD powered by a Qualcomm processor is trash. The Nokia, 4 years older runs smoother and cleaner than this Moto G 2025. This Moto G 2025 was thrown together in a cheap swift hurry, then tossed to market for unsuspected consumers to be stuck with the purchase. This Moto G 2025 doesn't process to multimedia applications at once; ex. Spades online and Music streaming service. No problem, even with my 2015 Kyocera hydro using Qualcomm processors. Trash the Moto g 2025 and any similar style using mediatek processors and Moto g menu settings suite... TRASH IT! THIS IS THE WORST PHONE I'VE EVER OWNED! Even the Motorola razor 2008 had less problems, except the 3 hour battery limit. Motorola needs to stick to analog walkie talkies like they began. Leave the cellular service to the companies that show concern for user acceptance and functions of ease/sense. Every part of this phone is trash except the brainwashed vegan leather backing, which will peel off eventually!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

This is a decent phone for the price. It, at least. starts slow though. It took three times as long to update as my Pixel 9 and takes, at least, twice as long to boot up, but it isn't the 'Edge' (which I also have). I can see the difference, but it cost a whole lot less than the Edge or Pixel. This is not going to be used as a primary phone, so it will work for us. It came with a decent amount of storage, 128G and with my 256g SD card it has more storage than my pixel. Its operating memory is low a 4G (causing the slowness) and I like how I can use 8G of storage to increase the operating memory. However, I have not had time to test it yet. I'd give it 5 stars if it came with 8G of operating memory. I haven't used the cameras yet, but I've been happy with the Motorola cameras for, at least 4 years and most cameras today are very capable today. I don't think I would ever trust a phone camera if I were a photograph aficionado. The phone comes with NFC and 5G. It also has a headphone jack if you're still liking that.

I bought this phone recently to replace my iPhone 7, and OMG it's wonderful. I love all the features and how smooth it functions. The shear lack of bloatware BLEW my mind, like most phones tell you that you've got 128GB but it's full of pre-installed data, leaving you with 30GB to actually use. But not with this phone!! I have maybe 40GB of my storage taken up of my 128GB by the time I had everything transferred from my old phone. Plus It's TOUGHH, I've dropped it twice pretty roughly and it survived without a case

So far, so good. Read the instructions and I only charge to 80%. - I guess it charges to 100 by itself once a week. Hopefully I will get a longer battery life on this phone by doing the 80%charge.had to get rid of the other phone due to such a short battery life.

Terrible lock screen add ons

Adds are not on my lock screen and I can't remove them. I wanted my own colored font and no shortcuts on my screen, but I'm forced to look at news articles and having extra features I want removed from my lock screen.

I had a moto e5 play for 7 years, the moto g 2025 is an upgrade for me in terms of everything however the screen scratches within the 1st month so durability needs to be better but overall it's still good

Not sure if the issue was my internet connection or not, but I had a struggle connecting to wi-fi and maintaining the connection the first few days.

Had the Moto g play/2021and was happy with it. When the time came for a new phone, I went back to Motorola. It's easy to use and I'm pleased with my purchase. I do wish it had more updates as I purchased it in 6/2025 and 3 years of updates would be more competitive with other brands
