Can I use my current SIM card (NOT 5G) in this phone or do I have to use the 5G SIM that comes with the phone?
Hi EHAMM, Thank you for your inquiry. Since this Moto G 5G 2024 phone is locked to Verizon, you will need to use a Verizon SIM card to activate and use the phone. You can use your current Verizon SIM card, even if it is not 5G, but to access 5G network speeds, a 5G-compatible SIM card is recommended. If your current SIM is 4G-only, the phone will operate on 4G LTE until you upgrade to a 5G SIM from Verizon. Please contact Verizon customer support if you need assistance upgrading your SIM card. -Mich

does the phone come with a charger? why is the battery not replaceable?
Thank you for reaching out with your questions, Ildi. The Moto G 5G 2024 phone comes with a charging cable, but please note that the wall charger itself is not included in the package. You can use any compatible USB-C charger, or one can be purchased separately. Regarding the battery, the Moto G 5G 2024 uses a non-removable battery for design and performance reasons. This ensures the device remains compact, efficient, and durable. However, should the battery need replacement, we strongly recommend contacting an authorized Motorola service center. Attempting to replace the battery yourself could damage the phone and void the warranty. -Mitch
