This phone has quite nice performance. It runs fast and is decent at gaming. I like the gaming feature which customizes settings in a pop-up while gaming. I've had almost no lags, though webpages take a second to load.
I love the Moto shortcut to activate the flashlight which is a chop motion. Moto exclusive. Battery life is awesome, probably the phones best feature along with its performance. Charging speed is good too.
Camera is good enough but its autofocus doesn't work well at more demanding conditions (e.g. lots of activity in a photo, close up shots). I accept that for the phones price but it is disappointing.
Stylus is kinda useful. The Moto notes app isn't the best. It's not good for marking up a photo due to a bug in it. But it's okay for handwritten notes. Could be improved.
The handwriting calculator is quite nice for quick math, but it sometimes misreads what I wrote and you cant erase and rewrite a number.
The Moto handwriting text input sucks. If you use it you'll know why. I use the Gboard handwriting which works fine, other than having to write inside a rectangle. I.e There's more potential in the stylus if they improve its experience.
I have some complaints. There is an ad lock screen that asks if you want to turn it on every few days and other ads you can turn off. That is betraying if you paid full price for the phone.
Also I've had some bugs and it's not fully polished. E.g. the speaker volume can't go very low, so the minimum ringtone and notification volume is too loud if you want it at a whisper.
The headphone quality has static. I will try returning since it may be a defect.
The speaker volume is either too low or slightly too high for a quiet room. It should have more volume levels.
The camera app crashed a few times while filming video, when zooming in and out, and lost the video. This hasn't happened otherwise, but I wouldn't know since I don't take a lot of video.
The phone is kinda heavy. It makes it hard tto control the camera app with one hand.

This phone series should have been recalled completely. I bought this back towards the beginning of the year and I should have replaced it sooner. The whole point of a phone is communication via connection. 90% of the time I pick up this phone to use it, its having connectivity issues. Every 5 minutes I'm surfing on the web it loses connection.

I like my phone. It's brand-new I haven't had a brand new phone in almost 9 years. As I have had used phones and even hand-me-downs. until getting this one. My complaint is my phone gets hot and seems to effect the battery life and this has been from the day that I got it and was doing the program installation process. It seems to be going very quickly. I got Motorola Moto g stylus bc my aunt gave me her old one 2021 version and I lived the battery life on it. I had it for almost 2 years and then the battery fried it had never gotten. Hot until it fried itself. But this phone gets hot and I don't like it. It's like it's defective.

I've used the last two versions of this phone and I don't regret it. They have been great phones. This one was a replacement to the last one since I lost it. Takes great pics and has plenty of storage as well.

Three weeks ago, I bought Moto G stylus phone that has great performance, good storage of 8gb ram, 256 memory plus option for more extension. It's unlocked phone that can be used for two sims, one regular & e-sim, built in stylus for taking notes and drawing with all latest advance features. Great cameras of 50G & 13 front one for day to day photography or professional. I think that its's excellent phone for it's price!

Yes, I'd recommend this product.
I bought this to replace my Moto 5G Ace. I love the color Scarlet and this phone works great, has some new features, I love the stylus, has a beautiful screen, is fast and snappy, transferred all my apps easily and I was lucky enough to get it with the offered tablet. The battery is very long lasting. I love moto phones, my Ace was still good so I know how well they are made.

Best phone. Speaker is loud like a Bluetooth speaker. Dolby Amtos. The different sound settings. Camera is amazing especially the video camera. The red one is the best the color is nice and sleek. Stylus is great for kids if you have them they will draw for days with the coloring app. Get it battery last for days.

Motorola's hello ux interface it's probably the best implementation of Android out there. If you take the time to go through all of the features and possibilities and actually use them, the device serves multiple purposes. One of the few manufacturers that still uses Miracast which in my opinion was one of the greatest wireless display technologies out there and I was extremely disappointed when it was removed from the AOSP source code and it made little sense to me. Miracast doesn't just allow me to display my phone screen elsewhere, it also allows use of Motorolas ready for technology allowing you to use your phone as more than just a phone, but also a full-fledged media player, smart tv, second PC display, second operating system.. it's limitless. The quality is fantastic and Motorola's ram optimization has always been much better than that of other manufacturers. There arent many other devices that they can pack this much of a punch into a device that looks this beautiful for the price. As far as reliability, all of my Motorola's have remained in fantastic condition throughout thick and thin and the only time I've ever broken into the device from Motorola is if I bricked it myself doing something stupid. In fact I had three pixels fail on me just this year while all of my Motorola devices are going strong. The G stylus feels just as good as a pixel 7 does in my hand, and even though the benchmarks aren't going to show it and you're not going to see it and stuff such as image or video editing, performance-wise doing other tasks is going to feel just as good if not better but for much cheaper, and then add a stylus to that as well and the beautiful vegan leather, extremely long battery life and lightning fast charging and you have a package that just can't be beat
