Solid phone with an interesting form factor

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

My reference point is the Pixel 8 Pro this phone replaced. The screen is nice. You can't visually see the folding area of the inner screen except in certain light. You can certainly feel it, but it doesn't bother me at all. The outer screen is cool, and after a bit of adjustment, it's pretty easy to adjust what you want to see on the external display. The form factor while folded is really nice. The hinge feels solid enough. Battery life is pretty good, not exceptional. Sound quality isn't great. The P8 had much better sound through the speakers. Cameras seem average. P8's cameras seemed better. Performance/speed seems good. Too much AI garbage on the phone, but I know that's the way all phones are going. But do I really need Moto AI AND Perplexity? Answer: no, I don't. I'm still trying to figure out the best use case for the folding form factor - it's cool, but is it really adding much over just a normal slab phone?

I have had my phone now for about a month, I have had the razr for the last few years but this is my first ultra. I love it. I can't say enough good things about this phone. The only thing I do not like is the picture quality when taking to send through text. If you back out of texting and take the picture through the camera app it's crystal clear, if you take it through the messaging app it's so dark you can't hardly make out the picture. I mean you can, but it's terrible quality. That's a new one on me. I've always been able to take crystal clear pics through the messages app. Other than that this phone is the bomb!

Beautiful Looking phone with wood however the speakers are terrible and the pictures are blurry especially selfies I have the Motorola 2023 Razr without the outer screen and much cheaper and H found this phone to be better than the 2025 ultra much better pictures and speakers that are clear- I was really disappointed and feel that Motorola put too much emphasis competing with apple and Samsung instead of what Moto does best-Too many features like AI and other features that are unnecessary and not enough focus on the pictures and sound of the speakers especially for the expensive cost- Hopefully Motorola comes up with the right balance next year with great pictures speakers etc because I love the aesthetics of the wood features which should be surrounded with 24k gold BTW and I have also heard that the Ultra has issues with booting and error messages with the new Ultra and again that is because it has too much on the phone- I hope Motorola gets back to the basics that made it such a fun phone and unique phone that it was a few years ago

Impressive Improvement from the 2023 Razr

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

Great phone all around! I had the Razr 2023 before this, but it broke. However, the construction on the Ultra feels much stronger and sturdier, so I have no worries about that. I was worried the big external screen would distract me too much, but it's actually easy to stay off of it. It's not frustrating so that you open the phone, but it's not so engrossing. It's easier to not get sucked into the phone, which is my main goal with a flip phone My only qualm is that you cannot use the Google assistant while the phone is closed which is a devastating feature loss if you're coming from Pixel. But I hope they change that soon. I'm so happy to finally be able to use my smaller purses from the 2010s again. If you have small hands like me, it might take some getting used to the size of the internal screen, but that means it's easier to use the external screen's keyboard. It's also noticeably faster than any phone I've ever had. It has twice the ram of my laptop and 4x the storage at 1TB. It's a monster of a device You'll love it!

I've upgraded from the first edge+. Wanting to stay with the flagship I opt. for this. The performance is great haven't had a stutter or a hiccup yet. The storage and performance is there. I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a foldable phone.

Yes, I'd recommend this product.

The one star rating only reflects the rediculous fact that there is no option to update the system using one's phone data, you must use WiFi! I only purchase unlimited data, and I should have the option to update my phone using my data, I should not have to find some Wi-Fi to connect to! My old Motorola phone gave me the option to update using my phone's data, so why not this updated phone!? PLEASE give people the option to use one's phone data to for all updates, if they want that. I will give the phone 4 stars for all other area's.

Big Upgrade from 2023 Razr Plus

I decided to upgrade my 2023 Razr Plus and it such a big upgrade. The screen is clearer and brighter, the cameras are much better, and the battery life seems to have doubled from what I was experiencing on my old phone. From what I hear the hinge became titanium so it's probably much more durable and the crease seems to be non existent. I can barely see it. Overall a very good upgrade and one I am very happy about.
