I previously used the Galaxy A52s and recently switched to the Galaxy S23+. In day-to-day use, the performance difference between the two phones feels fairly modest. For my typical tasks, the S23+ does not seem dramatically faster than the A52s. The photo and video quality, along with the available camera options, also feel quite similar overall. While the Galaxy S23+ is clearly a more premium device, its higher price may not translate into a noticeably different experience for users upgrading from the A52s.

Battery life while in use is pathetic, my 5 year old cheapo burner phone had better battery life and was just as fast. Everything else is average at best. Seems to reset itself to Samsung branded duplicate apps and widgets, like the keyboard) which is incredibly inconvenient. I just want to use the standard Android keyboard, you didn't need to go and reinvent it and force it down my throat, thank you.

The phone works great, and even exceeds expectations in terms of photography potential. When ordering certified pre-owned, however, the device was delivered with a small crack (10-12mm) in the top-left quadrant of the screen, which I must now repair myself since I don't pay for phone insurance.
