Being back landlines

Cell phones suck 1997 . 1 hour ago

Bring back landlines. I'm 28 and I hate and absolutely despise cell phones. They are too much of a liability being made entirely out of glass and useless when cell towers are taken out. Ask the people of North Carolina how thay worked out after hurricane Helene and they were relying on ham radio operators in some spots to have a connection to the outside world before portable cell towers were able to be bought in. Not everything needs to be cellular. There needs to be a backup as obviously pointed out.
