Verizon Cloud - Apple - Restore Content
Here's how to restore your content to your iPhone or iPad using Verizon Cloud.
If changing to a new device, ensure the content from the old device is backed up before activating the new device. For more info, refer to Verizon Cloud - Manage Settings.
- Ensure the Verizon Cloud app on your Apple® iPhone® or iPad® is up to date and configured as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
- Contacts are automatically updated during the setup process.
- Unless an iPad has its own 10-digit mobile number, it's sharing a Verizon Cloud account with another device.
- Deleting a photo or video from the device's camera roll does not delete the content from Verizon Cloud.
- Open theVerizon Cloud app.
- Navigate:.
- Tap the Photos and/or Videos switch to turn on or off.Currently these are the only media types that can be downloaded from Verizon Cloud.
- Tap one of the following connection options:
- Wi-Fi Only
- Wi-Fi + Mobile Network (Data usage may apply)
- TapRestore.
- If content is missing after the restore operation, check whether there are items in the Trash:
