Here's how to ensure MMS messaging for your iPhone is turned on if you're unable to send / receive picture messages.
- Apple® iPhone® uses different colored message bubbles to indicate whether a message is sent via iMessage® (blue), standard SMS / MMS (green) or Verizon RCS (green).
- With Verizon RCS, users can enjoy high-resolution file sharing, improved group chats, typing indicators, read receipts, emoji reactions, and more - regardless of whether you use Google Messages or Apple Messages. For additional info, refer to Verizon RCS FAQs.
- If you switched to a non-Apple phone and aren't getting SMS / MMS messages, refer to Apple's Deregister iMessage FAQs.
- Advanced troubleshooting and configuration for iMessage should be handled by Apple.
