Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (2015) - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Galaxy Tab S2 (2015).
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps Apps icon
    Settings
    Lock screen and security
    .
  3. Tap
    Fingerprints
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, place finger on the
        Home button
         (oval button below the display) then lift multiple times until the scan completes.
      2. Select the display option for the lock screen then tap
        DONE
        .
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 4 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, place finger on the
        Home button
         (oval button below the display) then lift multiple times until the scan completes.
      3. Tap
        DONE
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Follow the on-screen prompts to swipe finger.
      2. Touch and hold the fingerprint you wish to remove.
      3. Tap
        Remove
         (upper-right).
      4. Tap
        Remove
         to confirm.
        When all fingerprints are removed, the screen lock method defaults to Swipe.
