Samsung Galaxy Note10 - Set Up SOS Messages
Here's how to set up SOS messages on your Galaxy Note10 / Note10+ / Note10+ 5G for use in an emergency situation.
- In any emergency situation, you can send a message to an emergency contact by quickly pressing the Power button 3 times.
- A notice of your approximate location is sent to the mobile phone of a selected contact.
- Up to 4 emergency contacts can be registered on the device.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.
- Ensure the 'Send SOS messages' switch is turned on.
- TapOK.
- To continue, review the terms and conditions, select (check) the agreement option then tapAgree.
- From the 'Create emergency contact' message, tapAdd.An emergency contact must be created for SOS messages to turn on.
- From the 'Add recipient' message, do one of the following:To change the contact later, tapSend messagesthen tap 'Add' or 'Delete'.
- To create a new emergency contact:
- TapCreate contact.
- Enter a name and a 10-digit number.
- TapSave.
- To use an existing contact for the emergency contact:
- TapSelect from contacts.
- Tap the desired contact(s) to select (check).
- TapDone.
- Tap theBack icon
to return to the 'Send SOS messages' screen.
- TapAttach picturesto turn on or off.The message includes a snapshot taken by the front and rear camera.
- TapAttach audio recordingto turn on or off.The message includes a 5-second audio recording.
