Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Galaxy A71 5G UW.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     Settings icon.
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on On Switch icon.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
         Show Password icon.
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
         Add Wi-Fi network.
      2. From the Network name (SSID) field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. Tap
        Security
         Dropdown menu icon.
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA/WPA2 - Personal, etc.).
      5. Tap
        Proxy
         to enable any additional settings (e.g., Proxy settings, IP settings, etc).
      6. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the
        Gear icon
         Gear icon next to the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
