Here's how to insert or remove an SD / memory card for your LG G Pad 5 10.1 FHD.
The LG G Pad 5™ 10.1 FHD supports microSD memory cards which can be purchased from any Verizon store or online .
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. From the left edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray.
    Utilize the insertion / removal tool to unlock the tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the tray.
    Remove SIM/SD card tray
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Insert SD / memory card
      Ensure the gold contacts are facing down then press in on the card tray to lock into place.
      Insert SD card
    • Remove SD / memory card
      Once the tray is removed, lift the SD / memory card from the tray.
      Remove SD card
  4. Reinsert the card tray.
    Press in on the tray to lock it into place.
    Insert SIM/SD card tray
