Orbic Maui - Activate / Set Up Device

These steps guide you through setting up and customizing your Orbic® Maui™ for everyday use.

If you need to transfer contacts and media from one device to another, follow these step-by-step instructions before activating the new device.

To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Service.

If powered off, press and hold the

Power button

until the device vibrates and Orbic appears then release.

Select the appropriate language option then tap

START

From the 'Phone Activation' screen, tap

If prompted, enter the Account PIN then follow the onscreen prompts (see Account PIN FAQs for additional info).

If activating a new phone, ensure the old phone is powered off.

From the 'Connect to Wi-Fi' screen, select a network then enter the password.

to add a Wi-Fi network after setup is complete

From the 'Google Services' screen, select the desired options then tap

From the 'Set screen lock' screen, enter a PIN code then tap

to enable a screen lock after setup is complete.

to lock your device using a pattern or password.

From the 'Verizon Services' screen, select the desired services to turn on Switch on

or off

then tap

From the 'Verizon Cloud' screen, tap

Agree

Tap

to set up Verizon Cloud after setup is complete.

To complete setup, tap
