Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW - Customize Your Home Screen

Here's how to add / remove Home screen items (widgets, apps or folders) and set the wallpaper on your DuraForce Ultra 5G UW.
To customize the Home screen on your Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW, do any of the following:

A shortcut to an individual contact or bookmark can only be added to a Home screen via a
widget
.
  1. From the Apps screen, touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
Widgets are mini-apps (e.g., weather, clock, calendar, etc.) that can be added to a Home screen. They aren't the same as shortcuts as they generally display info and take up more space than a single icon.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Email, My Verizon, etc.).
  2. Drag the app on to another app (e.g., Gmail, Call Filter, etc.) then release it.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the
      Title bar
       (bottom of the open folder).
    3. Enter a name then tap the checkmark.
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Removing an app from a Home screen uninstalls it from your device.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, apps, etc.).
  2. Drag the item to 'Uninstall' or 'Remove' (top-center) then release.
    Some pre-installed apps (e.g., Gmail™ , Gallery, etc.) can't be deleted from a Home screen.
  3. From the 'Uninstall this app?' screen, tap
    Delete
    .
  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers & style
    .
    If prompted with permissions, tap
    ALLOW
    .
  3. From the 'Wallpaper and style' screen, tap
    Change wallpapers
     then perform one of the following:
    • Select image from Photos:
      1. Tap
        My photos
        .
      2. Navigate to the appropriate folder and select an image.
      3. Preview the desired image then tap the
        Checkmark
        .
      4. Choose an option (i.e., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).
    • Select a default image
      1. Tap
        Preset
         then select an image.
      2. Preview the desired image then tap the
        Checkmark
        .
      3. Choose an option (i.e., Home screen, Lock screen, etc.).
