Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any option to edit the following as preferred:
    • Network name
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
  4. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap the
    Hidden network switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Save
    .
