MOTO G 5G - Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your moto g 5G in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the 'Power off' option appears on the screen then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power.
  2. Touch and hold 'Power off' until 'Reboot to safe mode' screen appears.
  3. From the 'Reboot to safe mode' prompt, tap
    OK
     to confirm.
    This process may take up to 60 seconds to complete.
  4. Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears on the lower-left of the screen.
