Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your Galaxy Z Flip6.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap 'Personal (IMAP)' or 'Personal (POP3)'.
    Check your email provider of Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
  4. Enter the email address then tap
    Next
    .
    Depending on the email account type, the available options may vary.
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password, Server, SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap the
    Next
    .
    If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses. Contact your email provider if additional assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
  7. To continue, review the permissions you'll allow the Gmail app to access then tap
    Agree
    .
  8. Configure the account sync frequency options then tap
    NEXT
    .
  9. Enter an account name if desired then tap the
    NEXT
    .
    If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.
Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
