Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your Galaxy Z Flip6.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written without waiting or the need for an additional device.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accessibility
    Hearing enhancements
    Real Time Text
    .
  3. Tap
    RTT call button
    .
  5. Select the preferred setting:
    • Visible during calls
      : Shows the RTT call button Phone icon only during RTT calls.
    • Always visible
      : Shows the RTT call button whenever you make and receive all calls.
  1. With RTT enabled, from a Home screen, open the
    Phone app
     Phone icon.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the Keypad tab, enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      RTT call icon
       RTT call icon.
    • From the Contacts tab (lower-right), select a contact then tap the
      RTT call icon
      .
  1. While on a call, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  2. Tap
    Show RTT keyboard
    .
  1. While on a call, tap
    End
    .
    RTT end call
