Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 - Manage Data Usage
Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your Galaxy Z Fold6.
- Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon, refer to the My Verizon website.
- To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.
- Open theSettings app.
- TapConnections.
- TapData usagethen do any of the following:
- Turn Data saver on / off
- TapData saver.
- TapTurn on nowto turn on or off.Data saver must be turned off to use Mobile Hotspot.
- Set Mobile Data Limit:Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue to utilize apps dependent on a data connection (e.g., browser, email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit can be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).
- TapBilling cycle and data warning.Different sections appear if a physical SIM and eSIM are being used.
- TapLimit mobile data usageto turn on.If prompted, review the message then tapOK.
- TapData limit, enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tapSet.
- Set Mobile Data Warning:A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the orange warning line.
- TapBilling cycle and data warning.Different sections appear if a physical SIM and eSIM are being used.
- TapSet data warningto turn on.
- TapData warning, enter the desired level (e.g., 2.0 GB) then tapSet.
- Change Data Usage Cycle:

- TapStart billing cycle on.
- Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tapSet.Refer to the My Verizon website for the billing cycle date.
