Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Pixel 9 / 9 Pro / 9 Pro XL.

  3. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock

  4. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings gear icon to the right of 'Screen lock', then tap any of the following:
    Depending on the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Enhanced PIN privacy
      Tap to turn on or off.
    • Lock after screen timeout
      Select an option (e.g., Immediately, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.)
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to turn on or off.
