Samsung Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until it vibrates and the 'Samsung Galaxy' screen appears, then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. With 'Samsung Galaxy' still on the screen, press and hold the
    Volume down button
     on the right edge of the device..
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the unlock or Home screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
