This setting controls how your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra uses cellular data. Turning it off can conserve battery and data usage, but may cause network or message issues.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Connections

Data usage

Do any of the following:

Turn Data On / Off

Tap the

Mobile data switch

to turn on or off.

If prompted, tap

Turn off

to confirm.

Allow / Deny Data Roaming

Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).

Tap the

Data Roaming Access switch

to turn on or off.

If presented with 'Allow data roaming?', tap
