Google Pixel 9a - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Pixel 9a or turn it on or off.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    More security & privacy
    SIM lock
    .
    If unavailable (when using a physical SIM card), ensure a 5G SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter a new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
